Ace Services is a full service commercial snow removal company working downtown, north and south Minneapolis and Uptown. We plow it, salt it, and haul the piles off site, on call twenty four hours through every snowfall and windstorm.

Three jobs, and the equipment to do all three.
Most contractors push snow to the edge of your property and leave it there. We are set up to take it away, which is the part that gives you your parking back in February.

Snow Hauling and Removal
Front end loaders and large volume roll off trucks lift the piles out and take them off site for disposal in remote areas. This is what you call when the banks have eaten your parking spaces and started melting back across the lot.

Salting and Sanding
Sand and salt trucks for ice control on cleared surfaces. We use high quality, environmentally friendly salts that melt ice without harming your landscape, and sanding where a surface needs traction rather than melt.

Commercial lots get cleared between close and open. By the time anyone arrives, the only evidence is that nothing is in the way.

Nicollet and the blocks around it. Sidewalks and entranceways first, because that is where people actually walk in from. The lights are still on in the trees and there is nobody about to work around.

Heavy duty plow trucks
A V plow opens a lane and stacks the windrow where it will not block a sightline at the exit. On a big retail or ramp job this is the first machine in and the last one out.

Loaders and roll off trucks
The pile goes in the truck and off the property. Twenty acres of parking or a single gas station lot, the difference is how many loads it takes, not whether we can do it.

Then salt, then done
Cleared surfaces get salted or sanded so the melt does not refreeze across the lot overnight. Snow Removal is finished several hours before your first customer turns in, because our drivers are on-call 24/7 through snowfalls and windstorms.
Why hauling matters
Pushing snow is not the same as removing it.
By midwinter a plowed lot has a second problem: the snow is still on it, stacked in the corners where the parking used to be. Piles block sightlines at the exits, and every thaw runs meltwater back across the surface to refreeze after dark.
We have the front end loaders and the large volume roll off trucks to lift it out and take it away for disposal off site, which is the only thing that actually gives the space back.

Yes. Our drivers are on call 24 hours a day through snowfalls and windstorms, so a lot can be cleared between close and open. Most commercial work happens overnight for exactly that reason: the tenants, staff and customers arrive to a lot that is already done.
Plowing pushes snow to the edge of the property. Hauling picks the piles up and takes them off site for disposal in remote areas. Once a winter has stacked up, the piles start taking parking spaces, blocking sightlines at exits and melting back across the lot, and that is the point where hauling is the only thing that actually gives the space back.
